Saturday May 14 on France 2 from 21.10

Commentary by Laurence Boccolini and Stéphane Bern - Live from the Pala Olimpico in Turin

After the victory of the group Måneskin last year, the 66th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 is held live from the Pala Alpitour in Turin, Italy.

During this grand final, commented by Laurence Boccolini and Stéphane Bern, 25 countries are competing for the coveted trophy. After the 2nd place of Barbara Pravi last year, France will be represented this year by the Breton group Alvan & Ahez and their song "Fulenn"...

How are the votes cast?

Each artist receives a total of points composed of 50% by the votes of the national juries and 50% by the votes of the public. To begin the announcement of the votes, the spokespersons of the 39 participating countries reveal the results of their national juries ("12 points from France go to...").

This year, the French spokesperson is Elodie Gossuin. At the end of the 39 spokespersons, the presenters will give the results of the public vote on stage. At the end of this voting phase, the grand winner of Eurovision 2022 will be known!

See you on May 14 for an exceptional evening!

Alvan & Ahez, behind the scenes of Eurovision

May 12 in the second half of the evening on Culturebox - France 4
May 14 on France 2 after the final

Much more than a singing contest, Eurovision is a representation of French culture in the European landscape.
This documentary focuses on the choices and the strategy put in place by the French delegation of Eurovision to bring their candidates as far as possible in the contest.
A real musical marathon, our camera follows the selection of the 12 candidates, until the victory of the Breton group Alvan & Ahez and then accompanies them to Turin.
Between testimonies, moments of life, confidences and backstage, the documentary is also the story of the initiatory journey of artists in the making, towards the light of the biggest European stage.
