The series THE ISLAND OF LIES joins France tv distribution’s line-up

France tv distribution is delighted to announce the launching of the international distribution of the series THE ISLAND OF LIES.

Distributed worldwide by France tv distribution, this program, produced by Fontaram Productions and Ramona Productions, will be launched at the MIPCOM, which will take place in Cannes from October 12 to 15, 2026.

Synopsis

At 33, Emma’s life is starting over. Convicted of double murder, she has spent half her life behind bars when a new piece of evidence leads the Court to suspend her sentence. Now the countdown begins: she has two months to prove her innocence before facing a new trial or going back to prison.

To uncover the truth, Emma has no choice but to return to Kerlann, the island where tragedy struck and where everyone rejects her - including her son, who sees her as his father’s murderer. What if proving her innocence turns out to be even more dangerous than remaining guilty?
