The series OUR MISSING SONS

joins France tv distribution’s line-up

France tv distribution is delighted to announce the launching of the international distribution of the series OUR MISSING SONS. 

Distributed worldwide by France tv distribution, this program, produced by Studio 14 Films, will be launched at the Unifrance Rendez-Vous in Le Havre, from September 7 to 10, 2026.

The series has been selected for the Festival de la Fiction (September 15–20, 2026) in the French Competition section for 52-minute series.

Synopsis

When her son Gilles mysteriously disappears while on furlough in 1981, Jocelyne Veyrades is convinced that he did not simply desert. As she investigates, she discovers that other young men serving in the military have gone missing in the region. And over the years, more disappearances are reported. Yet, Jocelyne keeps hitting a wall in the face of indifference from the military institutions and the authorities. Despite the obstacles, she joins forces with other families and decides to speak out on television. Her testimony leads to the reopening of the investigation, but it will take 20 years and the fierce determination of a mother to finally shed light on this case and make sure justice is served.
