CINEMA LINE-UP

France tv distribution is delighted to announce its acquisition of two prestige movies: 'Men on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown' directed by Audrey Dana and produced by Curiosa Films, and 'Dreamchild' (working title) directed by Raphaël Jacoulot and produced by TS Productions. International sales of these two movies will be launched at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Audrey Dana’s new production, Men on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, is now part of France tv distribution’s movie catalogue. After her directorial debut, French Women, Audrey Dana explores the story of three generations of male depressives. Seven men, all city-dwellers aged between 17 and 70, with nothing in common apart from the fact that they are all on the verge of a nervous breakdown, meet up at a lonely station for an unusual course in the wild that is supposed to get them back on their feet. Each step in this boot camp, designed by an eccentric and feisty female coach, aims to reveal them to themselves. The task seems to be a tough one, especially as nothing goes as planned between these men.

Men on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown stars Thierry Lhermitte, Ramzy Bedia, François-Xavier Demaison, Laurent Stocker, Pascal Demolon, Michaël Grégorio, Max Baissette de Malglaive and Marina Hands. Shooting is currently in progress and the production is due for theater release in 2020.

France tv distribution is also distributing Dreamchild (working title) directed by Raphaël Jacoulot, with a remarkable cast that includes Jalil Lespert, Louise Bourgoin and Mélanie Doutey. François (Jalil Lespert) and Noémie (Mélanie Doutey) run a sawmill in the mountains not far from the Swiss border. François has taken over his family's business, making him the fourth generation. He dreams of having a child. After years of failed fertility assistance, they give up on having a baby of their own and turn to adoption. But then François meets Patricia (Louise Bourgoin), new to the neighborhood. They begin a passionate affair. Soon after, Patricia gets pregnant.

Shooting is currently in progress and the production is due for theater release in the second half of 2020.
